Witchy music

Hello!
Last weeks I'm interested into witches and their history... Witch hunting and paganish crafts. And as music lover, I always need to find themed music. So, here we are:


1. Gazelle Twin - Obelisk
This music is so dark. I'm not fan of electronic music, but THIS!! It's so witchy. And I also love this video from Holly Mountain movie. 

2. The Smiths - How soon is now
Haha... Yep, and you know why? It's Charmes theme song!! When I was starting with listening The Smiths, I never realized that this is it. And it's magical.

3. Nico - Lawns od Dawns
Nico was a witch and this song is evidence!

4. Cocorosie - Werewolf
I think this is what I always imagine, when I think about witchy music. This is it, this is how witch sounds in modern age.

5. Metallic falcons - Four Hearts
Not actually my style, but I like it. You can feel the nature thourght theese electronic sounds. And I like this feeling.

6. Theme from Rosemary's baby (Sleep safe and warm)
Well, this is becouse of the movie, Rosemary's baby...

 

Do you have some witchy music for me?
I need more! I was looking for music with feeling of witchcraft, but everything I found is just some "witch house" and I just hate when electro is everything they can do.

I'm having really bad hangover today :D and im so bored and lazy, so I decided to write some article about my favourite DIY things. I love to wear floral headbands and floral weraths and I think that they are too expencive when you want to buy it and sometimes not even very nice (plastic flowers to look more natural - really??). So I started with creating them by my own hands...
Soo... Im gonna show you my DIY things I like to put on my head.

Czech dark music

Hello!
I promised you to write about czech goth bands. Actually, there is not many goth bands here - and if yes, they are not very good. I'll write also about theese, which are not "true goth", but it has this important dark atmosphere and I think that it's good to know them. I don't like this "elite goth" bands that are stocked in one box of music (and sometimes fashion...).


1. Prouza
Old band from late 80's and early 90's.

2. Krch-off
If you are looking for some old-school postpunk/deathrock, this is not for you. A bit of viollin cliché, but theese lyrics!! And atmosphere of course!

3. Kazety
Modern way, lo-fi sound. Actually very minimalistic lyrics and everything. But I still think that this is very important band to know if you are goth in czech republic.

4. Psí vojáci
Yeah... Big boom of this band started last year when the singer died. Now everyone knows them and loves them and is one of theese old fans. But still it's important to know this band, I think. 

Than we have here some "true goth" bands. I don't like them so much, but I'm glad that we can have live music on our bat parties and that we can all just meet on their concerts.
for example... brand new band called THE CRYPT ...I would like to say a few words about them, but I just don't know. Im just happy that they are here now, but Im more guitar person and I miss this in their music. 
One day I found this band called TONGUE. I like the music, it's just this thing that I like, but... I think they don't play so much- maybe not anymore?
THE PROSTITUTES are also "something" like this. I don't like them so much... dont know why. I just... dont like something about them.

So... Yes, I have this strict opinion for pigeonholing music, I know. And also this strange opinion about czech goth community. They are just... in their corner, they are not open to something new which is not considered as "real goth". I think one day, I'll write some post about this.

Hello!
I'm sorry that I'm not writing so much, but I!'m just enjoying my free time!
Cause I successfully graduated and now I have the longest holidays ever :)

But I have to tell you few things...
Im partying almost every day. Last week I was also on Masquerade concert in Prague and it was perfect! After concert I was drinking with the band, they were so nice! Finnish mentality is just... also mine mentality. Next day I helped them with orientation in Prague and on the main train station and everything was just so great :)

Next thins is that I broke up with my boyfriend and now I feel so great! It was really great decision, cause our relationship was so shitty last days. Im afraid that Im not going to be free for a long time...

Yesterday we got little black kitty :)


I have also many things to do. My main holiday plans..:

1. Learn Finnish
2. Learn to play Gloomy Sunday on piano
3. Learn to play on accordion
4. Learn to cook

Rat videos

Im just tired today...
But here are my bad quality videos...
One is with my rat Flying when she is eating cat food inthe kitchen. This video is from winter when they were more calm and Tiger was very shy (now he is not afraid anymore! :)) and Flying was the ony hyperactive one.
Now they are hyperactive and crazy both. Tiger is still smaller and Fyling is starting to be very fat. So they are both on diet now, cause Flying is eating also hiden Tiger's treats :D No cat food for ever!

The second one is just about our typical evening. I let them run and play in my room for an hour or two every day. They love to climb on my plants, as you can see. And my plants are than totally destroyed. They also like to drink my tea (its in the video too), climb on me and... yeah, they're just typical rats.
